Leaseholders vote for monthly public meetings.
Public meetings. We will be holding monthly meetings on the second Wednesday of the month again. Brian will host these meetings as usual. Strictly speaking these meetings will not, as yet, be 'official' ILA meetings but will give Leaseholders an informal forum for discussion and swapping information. The ILA Board is aware that we were elected to represent all leaseholders, including those from Partners. We asked leaseholders at the public meeting on April 16th 2008 whether they wanted to continue the monthly meetings in the Town Hall. There was a strong vote for the monthly meetings to start again. Islington's Labour group leader Catherine West supports the ILA and has offered to arrange for hall hire on our behalf. The ILA is very grateful for this support and we are pleased that the meetings have started up again. Board meetings. It has now been agreed to schedule regular Board meetings for the second Tuesday of the month at 7.00pm. Other meetings may be called as necessary. Board members should check with Hugh for the venue for each meeting. |
